Dawn Richard Poses for Pynk Magazine

One of my favorite artists will be featured in the newest issue of Pynk Magazine. I’m in love with the spread, its filled with cute, fun, and colorful shots. Inside she talks about doing her own thing, Bad Bay allowing her to take risks, how African American women portray themselves on reality tv, and her celebrity crush. Be sure to check it out and see more pictures below. I just love her, and her name is pretty amazing also! :)

Bad B Denim

Just in time for summer, Veronica, the creator of Bad B Denim released her 1st collection of revamped denim shorts. The shorts are hand crafted by her. I am in love with the collection, she even switched it up and added pink dyes to a few pairs, as well as only bleaching 1/2 of a few pairs also. She even gave the shorts cute names like, “Stud Muffin”, “Aqua Mamas” (which are pictured above), “Just Bleachy”, “Junk in the Trunk,” and so much more. See More photos below. Also check out the Fab Friday feature I did on Veronica about a week ago, I posted the link below.

Fab Friday: Regular Chicks With A Sick Sense of Fashion

Photo taken by: Christopher Hernandez

Say hello to Victoria! This fashionable, on-the-go chick always makes time to put together the perfect outfit. Whether she’s running around the streets of Los Angeles, or out with the girls Victoria always finds a unique way to make the latest trends work for her. When asked about her “style” she says, “I usually describe my look as one step above “you’re lucky I got dressed today” (lol) with a little more thought under a men’s blazer. I never match an outfit, but I always make sure that it “goes”. My favorite era(s) are 1960′s menswear, outerwear, and accessories, 1940′s letterman sweaters, oxfords, high tops, ladies hats, gloves, silhouettes, and Dior’s “New Look” 1947. My look is part vintage/Goodwill, part menswear and menswear inspired, part T by Alexander Wang, a lot of American Apparel, and a lot of vintage outerwear from my Mom and Grandmas.”

She also went on to say. “I also LOVE my jean shorts. If I see sun, I wear jean shorts. Less is more when it comes to hair and makeup, but if I’m wearing false eye lashes, then you know to take me seriously! (lol) I LOVE footwear, from platforms, to oxfords to high tops and I feel just as confident in any of them. I also love the classics: Keds, Converse, and Vans. As far as jewelry, I always have on 1 of my necklaces which is a a tiny gold circle with a “V” inscribed on it, or a tiny pair of scissors. I rarely wear earrings, but I usually have on a dramatic and impairing ring (or 2) of some sort.”

Check out more of Victoria’s unique style below. Also, she’s a fashion publicist, so if you need her services email her at: hello@victoriaberrypr.com & also check out her site: www.victoriaberrypr.com
